Position Summary
Spectrum Systems, Inc., a growing software solutions provider located in Fairfax, Virginia, is accepting applicants with multiple experience levels in Software Configuration and Change Management (SCCM), and preferably experience with IBM Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest products. IBM Team Concert experience may be advantageous in carrying out position duties. Candidates will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of COTS SW applications for multiple development and test environments.

Position Responsibilities:

Candidates must have proven experience with ClearCase and ClearQuest installation, configuration, and maintenance. They must be able to demonstrate strong to expert knowledge of the following ClearCase/ClearQuest product SCCM skills:

• Standard ClearCase and Unified Configuration Management (UCM)
• Utilization and maintenance of ClearCase Multi-Site
• One way and two way multisite implementation and maintenance
• Configuring and maintaining ClearCase/ClearQuest/Oracle backups
• IBM Passport Advantage and Rationale patch upgrades
• Develop and implement ClearCase/ClearQuest triggers
• Creates and maintains build scripts used to facilitate the build, configuration, and reporting processes

Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong to expert knowledge and abilities in the following SCCM and project management related areas:

• Maintaining and implementing software configuration management tools, software migrations, and integration of code.
• Providing software configuration management for baselines in accordance with program requirements.
• Supports and follows software development methodologies, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborates with all Integrated Product Teams on schedules, milestones, and priorities.
• Troubleshooting/debugging of COTS SW applications
• Multitasking across several development and test environments
• Senior position candidates are expected to lead teams, provide mentoring and direction to junior administrators, and interface with Program customers.
• Junior position candidates provide support to team lead and other administrators and interface with Program customers.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or related discipline.
• Senior level positions requires minimum 5 years SCCM experience with IBM related products
• Junior level positions require minimum 2 years SCCM experience with IBM related products
• Excellent cognitive thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff
• Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Non-essential Skills and Experience (valued but not required):

• Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or related discipline.
• DoD Secret clearance. Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
