Spectrum Systems Makes VARBusiness 500 List

Spectrum Improves Ranking on Both the VARBusiness 500 and GovernmentVAR 100

Fairfax, VA – June 22, 2005 – Spectrum Systems, Inc., a leading government reseller and provider of IT solutions, today announced for the second consecutive year their listing in the VARBusiness 500 [1] as one of North America’s largest solution providers. VARBusiness 500 is VARBusiness magazine’s annual ranking of the top 500 business and technology integrators, including solution providers, resellers and IT consultants in North America. Spectrum also improved its ranking on the GovernmentVAR 100 - an overview of 100 government-focused solution providers.

“Spectrum is honored to be recognized as one of the top solution providers and resellers in North America,” said Ronald Segal, president and CEO. "Our continued growth reflects our success in enhancing our clients' systems and applications. We have the capability to provide a full suite of software development lifecycle and network tools along with best practices backed up by a staff that can guide teams in creating a solution and process that best fits their specific needs and requirements."

For almost two decades, Spectrum has been providing public and private organizations with the elements required to develop, optimize, secure and manage their applications, systems and information assets. Spectrum continues to implement its strategy to seek out the industry leaders in the application development and optimization marketplace as well as strengthen their professional services capability, and has seen continued strong revenue growth in both the government and private sectors.

Spectrum has forged partnerships with some of the leading systems and application development and management tool manufacturers such as Mercury Interactive, Embarcadero, Borland Software and iRise. It is also part of their strategy to partner with emerging technology companies that have compelling IT solutions, but are new to the federal sector; providing them with a contract vehicle (GSA Schedule 70) and mentoring on the ins and outs of the federal market. With these solutions and other complementary products that Spectrum offers, the company is able to provide their government and private sector clients with a complete IT capability from concept to long-term productivity optimization and management.
