Spectrum Systems Inc. is now a CMAS Approved Contractor!

Fairfax, VA - April 23, 2003 - Spectrum Systems, Inc. an innovative provider of application development and networking solutions, has announced that it has been awarded a California Multiple Award Schedule (CMAS) Contract (#3-03-70-0115B), allowing California state and local government agencies easier access to IT solutions from more than 20 vendors.

The California Multiple Award Schedule (CMAS) contracts are awarded and administered by the State of California, Department of General Services, Procurement Division. They utilize products, services and prices from existing competitively assessed and cost compared multiple award contracts. Spectrum's CMAS Schedule parallels its Federal Government GSA Supply Schedule, and runs through September 28, 2007. It includes all of their manufacturers' hardware, software and hosted services products.

CMAS contracts are utilized statewide by both California state and local government agencies under delegated authority from the Department of General Services. Agencies make best value purchasing decisions according to their own business needs such as price, warranty, and supplier performance.

"We are very pleased to be listed on the CMAS contract," said Ronald Segal, President of Spectrum Systems. "California Agencies will now be able to more easily procure the excellent application development, network security and network management solutions that Spectrum provides; and our vendor partners will have a competitive advantage on California opportunities."
