Spectrum Systems Named Public Sector Partner of the Year
by HP for Second Consecutive Year
Fairfax, VA – October 26, 2009 –
Spectrum Systems, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-level IT
solutions and services to the public and private sectors, announced
today that it was honored by HP with the Public Sector Partner of
the Year award at HP Software Universe 2009. This is the second
consecutive year Spectrum Systems has received this recognition from
HP.
Customers can realize the full potential of their IT investments and
resources by leveraging the power of HP’s business technology
optimization (BTO) solutions. However, without the in-house
resources, skills and expertise required, successfully deploying a
new IT solution within an organization can be costly and time
consuming. Spectrum’s Professional Services for HP BTO solutions
help customers realize the full benefits of their HP software
investment through timely and efficient deployments.
“From the beginning, we have had an outstanding business alliance
with HP, and both companies have benefited from the mutually
supportive relationship. Spectrum is very pleased to receive this
formal recognition that HP appreciates our dedication to selling and
implementing HP BTO solutions in the public sector,” said Spectrum
Systems President Ronald Segal. “Spectrum’s goal is to help public
sector customers improve their business outcomes, lower their total
IT costs, improve delivery time, reduce risk, and enhance innovation
for their strategic initiatives. HP’s BTO solutions are a critical
component of our success in doing so.”
Spectrum’s relationship with HP goes back to 2001 with Mercury
Interactive, and then SPI Dynamics in 2005, whose solutions are now
part of HP’s BTO software suite. Spectrum has long supported both HP
software and services sales to the Public Sector through its GSA
schedule and other contract vehicles. Since HP acquired Mercury and
then SPI, Spectrum has integrated the complete HP BTO product line
into its business offerings, expanded its technical capabilities,
and strengthened its relationships with other HP partners.
Scott Strubel, vice president of Americas Alliances and Channels in
Software & Solutions at HP, said, “Customers can decrease costs
while enhancing the quality, performance, and security of their
critical software by adopting a business-centric approach to
application lifecycle management. The combination of HP software
with Spectrum helps organizations develop, deploy, manage and
protect their IT assets.”
