Security Solutions that Protect Your Applications and Systems
Spectrum Systems partners with Ivis Technologies and Lancope to offer
new infrastructure management and security products to the Federal
government
Fairfax, VA – April 8, 2004 – Spectrum Systems, Inc. is
pleased to announce that it has added the JBoost for Java and
StealthWatch product lines to their solutions offerings. Spectrum
provides its customers with a complete application development and
protection capability from concept to long-term productivity
optimization and management. The addition of these products to
Spectrum’s offerings increases their depth of customer coverage in both
the public and private sectors.
Ivis’ JBoost for Java provides an infrastructure framework for
web applications, sites and portals. Using the administrative
management console, web and security administrators are able to
quickly and securely administrate users, groups, roles, policies
and applications according to the enterprise’s established policies.
The Boost products allow software developers to focus on developing
business logic rather than on the time-consuming, mundane and
redundant infrastructure programming tasks that accompany every web
development project.
“When working with technology and the Federal government, the
leader is Spectrum” said Christopher Lank, CEO and president of Ivis
Technologies. “Our partnership will be focused on bringing the
Federal government solutions that address web application
infrastructures within Java.”
Lancope's StealthWatch delivers comprehensive real-time
intelligence and threat mitigation capabilities across network and
IT assets to ensure business continuity and protect intellectual
property. Expanding beyond the capabilities of signature-based
Intrusion Detection Systems (IDSs), StealthWatch is an innovative
behavior-based network integrity solution that monitors, categorizes
and analyzes network traffic to create comprehensive security
intelligence at both the network and host level.
“The federal government continues to be a significant market for
Lancope’s behavior-based threat detection and network intelligence
solutions,” said Mark Moeller, director of the Lancope Channel
Partner Program. “Spectrum is a recognized leader in providing
information security solutions and the widely-known benefits of the
GSA Schedule. By aligning with Spectrum, Lancope can offer
government agencies the unparalleled network protection and
optimization provided by StealthWatch.”
“Spectrum is pleased to add these outstanding product lines to
our government portfolio,” said Ron Segal, president and CEO of
Spectrum Systems. “We now offer our customers a single source for
obtaining the industry’s richest array of products and services for
implementing, managing and protecting large web sites and other
software systems.”
These featured solutions are now available on Spectrum’s General
Services Administration/Federal Supply Service (GSA/FSS) Schedule
(GS-35F-5192G).
