Artemis 9000
Artemis 9000 first came to prominence as the world’s
most successful project management system for IBM
mainframes. Today, Artemis 9000 runs on OS/390 to
support mainframe users, as well as Windows NT and
Windows 2000 for users in a LAN environment. All
versions share the same power and flexibility.
Artemis 9000 has been used by many companies to develop
custom applications that help control and run their
businesses. Its proven capability is derived from its
4GL command language and integrated project management
functions, as follows:
- Analyse
- Schedule
- Aggregate
- Draw
Artemis 9000 enables development of a solution that
meets an organization’s specific requirements for
functionality and applied technology. We can help you
structure a solution that ensures the right information
is provided to the right people for a strong and visible
control system. The openness of the Artemis 9000 system
enables the changing demands of an organization to be
met head on.
The flexibility of Artemis’ original design philosophy
allows the user to stay aligned with technological
advances. For example, Artemis 9000 offers several
integral components that can be used as building blocks
for GUI-based front-end, as well as a wide range of
interfaces with other products – Oracle, DB/2 and
Microsoft Office software.
Artemis Ontrack
Artemis ONTRACK, a computer-based simulation
workshop, trains project leaders and team members on
both the hard and soft aspects of project and resource
management. ONTRACK combines standard techniques of
time, cost and quality management with the challenges of
resolving the inherent complexities of human
interaction.
ONTRACK requires participants to make effective
decisions against a background of constantly changing
circumstances, while striving to achieve the overall
project objectives.
- Experience the reality of managing projects and
people
- Develop awareness of potential problems and
conflicts
- Understand the key factors for project success
- Combine leadership skills and project management
techniques
- Acquire team-building and collective
decision-making skills
- Trade off between the time, cost and quality
drivers
- Evaluate your performance and justify the
results
Although nothing replaces the authenticity of
learning on the job, ONTRACK more closely simulates a
real-world environment than any other project management
training program. Participants learn that their actions
are part of a complex system in which both standard
management methods and ever-changing human factors play
a critical role.
Artemis ONTRACK has been successfully used to train
more than 6,000 project leaders in 13 countries, and is
currently available in English, French, German, Italian,
Spanish, Japanese and Korean. The workshop can be
structured and delivered to integrate your
organization’s specific project management requirements.
Additionally, you may acquire the ONTRACK simulator for
use in the context of your internal training programs.
Artemis LINKS
Artemis LINKS e-learning program provides
cost-effective training for all project team members.
The Project Management Fundamentals course (9
modules) covers the essential concepts of project
management, and the Advanced Program (9 modules)
