Enterprise Elements, Inc. specializes in Enterprise
Architecture tools and methods. Enterprise Elements sells a
repository product specifically designed to manage large
quantities of Enterprise Architecture and EA-like data in
the context of a managed, full-lifecycle process. The
product is Web-based and supports versioning, baseline
management, complex reporting, user-based views, advanced
access control, and relationship visualization with
automatically-generated diagrams
Elements Repository
The Enterprise Elements core technology, The Elements
Repository, is a configurable database-like product that
is designed to allow the rapid construction of complex
enterprise-ready systems that solve enterprise-class
challenges, such as Enterprise Architecture, Systems
Engineering Data Management, Acquisition Process Management,
Knowledge Management and many others.
The Elements Repository has applications in any government
agency or commercial corporation that must build
applications such as these for internal use and to
third-party software vendors wishing to offer such products
on the market. The use of Elements will significantly
increase their productivity and in most cases allow them to
build more scalable, robust and complex applications than
they would be able to build on their own in any reasonable
amount of time.
The Elements Repository can be purchased as a generic
technology that businesses and consulting companies can use
to create applications that support such functions. At
present, a company might buy a database, configure the
database, and then use a programming language such as Java
or C++ to program the application from scratch. The Elements
technology offers the appeal of having many of the
characteristics of these large applications, such as
security, version control, workflow, Web access, and audit
trail, already available “out of the box.” The final step of
tailoring Elements to meet the specific needs of the problem
at hand is a matter of configuration, not programming. The
simple benefit to them is that they can create such
applications in a small fraction of the time that it would
take them to program them in traditional fashion.
The Elements Repository can be easily integrated with any
product that allows import/export of data or has any sort of
automation or interfacing capability. Enterprise Elements
invests in building these interfaces and welcomes
contributions from our partners and customers.

Elements Inside
Elements Inside is a Rapid Application Development (RAD)
tool for Oracle that facilitates rapid development and
deployment of enterprise Oracle applications.
Unlike traditional RAD tools which focus on physical schema
design and custom code development, Elements Inside features
an autogenerated schema based on a logical information
model. The result is a consistent and elegant schema which
includes native implementation of “complex functions” such
as history and process.
Elements Inside provides a number of important capabilities
irrespective of the kind of information that a customer is
managing and irrespective of the processes surrounding that
information.

CIO One-Stop
CIO One-Stop is a solution built on the Elements Repository
that takes a fresh approach to the challenges facing every
Federal CIO. Typically the CIO must make decisions with
limited information from disparate systems. CIO One-Stop
puts all that crucial information in one place, using
executive dashboard technology to bring together the
following disciplines:
- OMB Assessment Reporting
- Transition Planning
- CPIC Integration
- FISMA Compliance
- Dynamic Data Collection and Stakeholder Outreach
- Project/Program Management

DoDAF Elements
DoDAF Elements is a CADM-compliant repository that
facilitates the consistency, correctness and completeness of
DoDAF views and products across multiple modeling tools from
various vendors, with various metamodel implementation
variants.
The Core Architecture Data Model (CADM) is a formal model of
architecture products, structures, and their
interrelationships. The DoDAF Elements federated repository
facilitates consistency and CADM compliance across all DoDAF
views and products. DoDAF Elements features the data-driven
generation of selected products and views from information
extracted from various modeling tools. The DoDAF Elements
CADM implementation allows our clients to manage and gather
EA data in exact accordance with the CADM standard. Being
based on the CADM standard, DoDAF Elements allows our
clients to store architecture products from multiple,
framework-based architecture projects in a common way, so
that products from different projects, organizations, or
Services can be analyzed and compared.
The Elements Repository auto-configures based on the
metadata in modeling tools, such as System Architect,
so legacy data can be easily loaded, analyzed and managed.
DoDAF Elements is ideally suited to optimize the governance
of federated information environments like the Global
Information Grid (GIG) which is an information environment
composed of interoperable computing and communications
components. DoDAF Elements provides a frame of reference at
a higher level of abstraction than model-centric tools in
support of service-oriented architectural concepts,
reference architectures, and reference models. The federated
architecture supported by DoDAF Elements allows capital
planners to manage and influence the myriad of loosely
coupled “nodes on the grid” that are administered by
numerous autonomous organizations and entities. The
collection, management, and modeling of these
service-oriented nodes necessitates user roles,
collaboration, process enforcement, and information
management that is best facilitated using a
repository-centric approach as supported by DoDAF Elements.
DoDAF Elements can easily integrate with other products
supporting import/export of data or featuring an interfacing
capability. Using DoDAF Elements our clients can integrate
metadata from different tools, different model schemas, and
different methodologies to provide an integrated and
coherent view of enterprise information.
