Axe
Axe is a test automation platform that greatly
increases productivity and drastically reduces
maintenance overheads for test automation. It uses
simple Microsoft Excel spreadsheets as a means to define
and model test scenarios and code generation techniques
to rapidly generate robust, self-documented automation
code. Axe is unique and proven in enabling automation in
an Agile environment.
Axe integrates with tools from the leading commercial
suppliers; Micro Focus, HP, IBM Rational, Microsoft
Visual Studio 2010, t-Plan, open
source web testing tool WatiN, Watir, Selenium and

What's New in Axe 3.1
The key feature of the Axe 3.1 release is the
introduction of Java code generation, enabling the
addition of IBM Rational Functional Tester and Selenium
Java to the already rich line up of supported execution
tools. Release highlights include:
- Code generation and execution of RFT Java
scripts
- An online sample Axe test system for the RFT
Classics CD demo
- Support for Java scripting for AxeHarness
- Support for Java scripting for Selenium in
addition to existing Ruby and C# support
Other key enhancements include:
- Support for Excel 2010
- Improvements to the Selenium, WatiN and Coded UI
integrations
- Out-of-the-box support for executing WatiN
scripts in Firefox
- Minor enhancements to the Axe UI
